This is to give the game a more realistic feel for people that want to truly experience it as a a simulator. MotoGP 20 launched back in April, with Milestone managing to match the planned start window for the MotoGP 2020 season (which was obviously delayed due to Covid-19). MotoGP21 > General Discussions > Topic Details. The new update to MotoGP 21 adds Gyroscope controls for PS4, PS5 & PC, I'm not a fan of them. If you are playing the game on PS4, the update is 1.07. Some small bug fixes have also been addressed with this new update. It looks like the new patch continues to update the game for the current 2021 season of the sport.
Why the different version numbers? Who knows. The patch notes are pretty simple, with PC now at version 1.12, PS4 at version 1.0.12, and Xbox One at version 1.0.0.15.
